Pilot privacy notice

Your family story should feel personal—not mysterious.

Last updated August 17, 2026

What the pilot collects

When you create or contribute to a project, A Volume of Us may store the organizer’s name and email, the storyteller’s details, written memories, voice recordings, uploaded audio, family photographs, the chosen occasion, and project progress.

How it is used

The information is used to operate the private Story Studio, save the project, let invited family members contribute, and prepare the material for an editorial review requested by the organizer. No payment is collected during this private pilot.

Private-link access

Access is controlled by a private project link. Anyone with the link can open and add to the project, so share it only with people you trust. The pilot does not yet provide separate contributor accounts or role-based permissions.

Service providers

The pilot relies on hosting and storage providers to run the site and keep uploaded material available. We do not sell family stories, recordings, photographs, or contact information.

Your choices

Only upload material you have permission to use. You may stop contributing at any time. For access, correction, or deletion requests during the pilot, contact the person who invited you through the same channel they used to share the project.

This notice describes the current private pilot. It will be expanded with verified company contact details, retention periods, and production-service terms before a public launch.
